Megan Woodward: CottonInfo's new Communications Lead

CottonInfo has today announced that a new Communications Lead - Megan Woodward - has joined our team.  

Megan will support the CottonInfo team in providing the latest research to growers and consultants, helping them to achieve best practice. 

CottonInfo is a joint initiative of the Cotton Research and Development Corporation (CRDC), Cotton Australia and Cotton Seed Distributors (CSD). It is a unique industry partnership that aims to communicate the outcomes of research, encourage grower adoption and improve industry practices.

Farm Biosecurity Plan workshop

CottonInfo and the Grains Farm Biosecurity Program are jointly running a Farm Biosecurity Plan workshop on Wednesday 19 October from 9.30am – 12.30pm in Dalby (Cotton Seed Distributors office, Cnr of Napier and Edward Street).

The workshops are designed for cotton and grain growers interested in improving their on-farm biosecurity and who want to take proactive steps for preventing the establishment and spread of pests, weeds and diseases. 

Spotlight Spring 2022

The Spring 2022 edition of CRDC's magazine, Spotlight, features the return of the Australian Cotton Conference after a four year hiatus.

The 2022 conference was a huge three days with a record crowd and a theme of ‘Here for Good’ with presentations and panel topics structured around the industry’s PLANET. PEOPLE. PADDOCK. Sustainability Framework, underpinned by CRDC’s RD&E.

The workshop are part of a project aiming to reduce glyphosate reliance and support growers to identify and integrate different tactics and new technologies into their local farming systems.
